Method & review.

MiMOUD is educational media about medication treatment and recovery. We make the evidence trail, the uncertainty, the AI involvement, and the human review visible.

MiMOUD is an educational media project. Episodes are AI-assisted and may contain errors or become outdated. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, prescribing instructions, or individualized treatment recommendations, and they have not been clinically validated as a care tool. Do not use them as the sole basis for a health decision. Verify important information against current product labeling, current professional guidance, local requirements, and a qualified clinician. If you have an urgent health concern, contact your clinician or emergency services.

What we do

MiMOUD explains research, guidelines, terminology, uncertainty, competing interpretations, and questions a person may wish to discuss with a qualified professional. It does not diagnose people, select or change medication, give patient-specific treatment instructions, replace a clinician, or guarantee an outcome.

How claims are checked

Material claims are traced to inspectable sources or labeled as interpretation, hypothesis, production choice, or unresolved question. We check quotations, numbers, evidence-strength labels, population and setting, outcome and time frame, and what the source does not show. Current dosing, warnings, product labeling, and regulatory claims receive a current-source check.

Evidence trail

Guidelines and consensus; systematic reviews; trials; cohort and observational research; government or professional guidance; then preprints, commentary, and interpretation. The order helps orient review; it is not a substitute for judging applicability.

Visible limits

Association is not causation. A study population is not every patient. A dose range is not a universal rule. Important uncertainty and contrary evidence belong in the content, not in hidden fine print.

Reviewer standard

This policy is the working standard for MiMOUD's editorial process. Different AI systems and the project owner each work within an assigned role, record what was actually checked, and do not present model fluency or agreement as medical validation.

  • Drafting: evidence synthesis, causal structure, and a claim/source ledger.
  • Independent critique: a separate AI system checks source fidelity and content, opens the cited sources, and challenges overstatement.
  • Project owner: practical applicability, workflow, and the final decision on what gets published. This is editorial judgment, not a clinical sign-off, and is not a substitute for a treating clinician's advice.
  • Presentation tools (e.g. audio/video synthesis): not counted as independent review unless separately assigned and documented as one.

A second model family can expose a different failure surface, but it is not a clinical authority. Where medical meaning or foreseeable misuse is at stake, a qualified clinician's review is sought; legal/privacy review is sought for public policy wording, data practices, endorsements, testimonials, and material consumer-protection risk.

Publication gate

An episode is presented as reviewed only when consequential claims have inspectable sources, statistics and evidence strength are checked, important uncertainty is included, an independent reviewer has checked source fidelity, the project owner has completed an applicability review, and material disagreements are resolved or shown plainly. No episode has completed every step of this gate yet โ€” current episodes are labeled provisional, and that label means what it says.

Privacy and corrections

MiMOUD does not request or publish patient-identifying information or protected health information. Do not paste medical records or private case details into an AI system. When a material error is found, we record the affected claim, correction source, severity, decision, reviewer, and date; we correct the source ledger before regenerating a public derivative and withdraw or clearly mark material risks that cannot be corrected promptly.
